I'm from Melbourne. Bit far! Just had an awesome session at Elwood the other day. As usually people were trying to kite in the water with minimal results, and i was ripping up the park. Landed my first footout! Have been practising my kiteloops as well!

cheers

Puppet on a revolutionary string.

Inciting the crowd to rise up against the overlord oppressors, and drag their poor relatives from the gutter of the down trodden.

Hey Quirky

Come and get a new rim from me I have some spares. The bearing must have seized or been on the verge and when you were riding it loaded it seized and spun in the wheel, your rim is probably stuffed.
Maybe you need a bigger board, with bigger bearings?
Landboarding parts are 25% off and landboards are 20% off for the rest of this week.
I'm closed Anzac day though. Winds looking promising too!!

You guys really are funny. You must spend a lot of time on these forums practising. Pitty i don't have the time, too busy kitesurfing/kitelandboarding!

Quirky,

Sounds like what Steve said. Something went really wrong with the bearings that wasn't supposed to. I try to regularly lube my bearings, just spray a bit of CRC on them and they'll be fine. Sometimes after landboarding on the beach, they will sieze up and then i might even have to slacken off the nut to make the wheel turn again. This might mean later on tightening it up again after it's started spinning freely. I've been using this board for about a year now, and havn't had to replace a bearing at all, so sounds like you were pretty unlucky.

Good luck
