must have found a sharp stick when landing and have put 2 small holes in the lower skin of my kite(both only the size of a match head)
What is the best way to repair and can i still fly it today with no repair or will it tear into a big hole?
thanx

Kite shops usually have tape or sticker to do quick repairs if you want to kite today. I fixed one of my kites that way and haven't bothered since to do a proper job. It works.
Otherwise go to a yacht club or sailing school and ask for spinnaker-tape and you can repair it with that.
Just make sure you clean the dirt and salt where you stick it on, lauch the kite and have fun.

repair tape works fine on twinskins, have had several permanent repairs with a patch... round the edges and it will last longer

the holes aren't likely to tear but id patch them asap

What you need is a couple of round pices of this stuff.

Its clear and is a permanent fix. Small holes in the Pl ripstop material are nothing to worry about and you can fly the kite without concern until you get some repair tape.

I use double sided tape and spinaker repair tape for small stuff. The double sided tape sticks really well, I used a product called "stica sili " it comes in a role in various widths from Dimension Polyant in Sydney, they will send it too you in the mail. The spinaker repair tape is available from any ship chandler and comes in all sorts of colours.
