To all the kiters out in Safety Bay last night, I would just like to express my gratitude to keeping clear of the school kids learning to windsurf in the pond last night.
I had a group of 10 kids in the shallows, but all the kiters kept well clear until the lesson finished, at which point about 5 came in on to the shallows to use the area we had been in . It was noticed by quite a few parents of the group, and earned the local kiteing fraternty some big brownee points.

It just goes to show that the friction between the two sports is so pointless, and probably caused by a very small minority from both camps.
Thanks again
