Yeh. Carbie rescued me too, he is a top bloke and a great ambassador for the sport. Was having a awesome sesh on my boogy board pulling off some totally sick duck dives, when my wrist leash got tangled around my big toe and I could only paddle with my left hand and kick with my right flipper
To cut a long story short, there was no way I was going to make any headway against the prevailing off shore wind at the same time as navigating my way through a bunch of totally influencial crazy extreeme kitesurfers. Then out of the blue my saviour floated gracefully down to my rescue even though he appeared to be in a spot of bother himself ( His kite apeared to be malfunctioning as when he did a jump the stupid thing looped around causing him to be way overpowered )
So thanks Carby, its kind hearted souls such as yourself that will keep me coming back to the awesome conditions that woodman point reserve has to offer, safe in the knowledge that there is still good hearted people in this world that are only to happy to lend a hand to those in need
