The wind was nuking out Wanda this morning. I was overpowered on a 9m Switchblade, but still having fun.30-35knts and 5ft surf. On my last run I turned on a set wave and found a lull with no wind. The kite dropped in front of a set and I had no wind to relaunch. With a 6ft wave about to break on it, I pressed eject and watch it go. It washed in 400m down the beach and I though it would end up over the dunes. Then I see Ian sprinting down the beach after it. (play Chariots of Fire soundtrack). He secured it for me and saved me a whole lot of drama. Thanks Mate, your a legend!!!
