Just wanted to say thanks to the Guy at Brighton (VIC) who got the lifeguards to come and help me out yesteday. Ana a big thank you the the life guards for coming.

The Story...
Droped my kite trailing edge down, drifting towards the kite so could, get any tension in the lines. Pulled the centre lines to try and get it up - didn't budge . Tried again and again finally get it up but the lines are all tangled around the centre strap (crossbow and the depower dongles can get quite messy! ) so it drops down again in quite a powered dive! Finally get the tangle out and relaunch but I am now way down wind between the rocks and the pier and have used loads of enery getting the kite back up.
As I was struggling to get back upwind to the beach and just about to decide to go downwind to the next beach to drop the kite when the lifeguards came and gave me a ride back.

Thanks again to the Guy who got them for me, I was lucky to get my kite back up before I had to ditch it. Its good to know there are people watching out for you on the water

Hi Snowman,

This is normal behaviour at Kitebeach!
We are looking after each other, and I hope that this is the case in all the other kitesurfing spots.
If you remember, it happened to me few weeks ago, and Brighton Life Saving Clube came after me too.
It is such a comforting site to see the red dingy comming towards you, when you are tired and cold and the 500 m to the shore, look like 5000.
