Yep the reason is:
kiting is a trend driven sport (contrary to popular belief technology takes 2nd place

)and manufacturers pay very close attention to what is deemed to be hot.
Not that I don't like Cs, it's just the current trend is back to Cs. It's a statement/style/colour that goes with my board etc...
Anyway the Q was the "The best C".
Pretty damned happy with my 2005 Yargas. They suited me perfectly for 3 1/2 seasons as they were/are; stable, good boosters with nice float/landings, p!ss easy to relaunch with 5th line, relatively safe with 5th line and never, ever, misbehaved. Ride straight at em on a wave with slack lines? No wukken furrys mate! Tough as fek too! So you see the best C (for me) was mine
