Any of you new skool kite crew ever tried windsurf ,or even considerd it.Heaps of windsurf crew who do both and have a good understanding of the ocean rules, but whats the vibe from crew who have only kited?Sure its easier to learn to slash and carv it up on a kite but if ya committed and tried the best of both worlds life between the two cauld merge and the worlds oceans become a much more better life for us all..True to the heart watermun we should all be.luv all and keep aggression to ya self

Then we could trade our cars for a horse and cart, chew straw watch the radio and any other lame **** that may come up but seriously if you could only kite as much as they pole board you would be as board as them and be able to study weather trends be concerned abour metling ice caps and looking in to who stole all parise hiltons belongings. I dont realy have that much spare time due to kiteboarding but if i did find some I would just maby watch porn one night in paris.

I do both, and I love them both.

They are two totally different sports, and its great fun to be able to switch between them in the same afternoon.

In Safety Bay it definately helps to know both sports, as you know who wants to go where, so it causes less agro. In my opinion, its the lack of knowledge about the other sport that causes all the agro.

Windsurfing in the waves is definately way way better, but on flat water, theres nothing better than jumping 5-10m in the air, whenever you want. But i do love freestyle windsurfing as well. I think kitesurfers going to windsurfing would give up because its too hard and they'd be used to learning things quickly!!

Anyone know of anyone who's gone from kitesurfing to windsurfing, I know one person...rare case i think
