Hey Laurie,

I woke up pumped today, cos the graphs were showing SSW 15 to 20 knots

But I'm checking the site every 30 seconds now and all I see is red arrows

sob where's the wind

Sure is a pain. Was a really short summer.

Looking on the bright side .. only 20 weekends till September..(for the non-winter punters) ... Time to hit the gym so you're super fit for next summer [}:)][}:)]

I feel your pain swinginginthewind.
I also woke early this morning. Filled the car with gear, and got to work 30mins early (didn't want to shock anyone too much).

Then the wind did a no-show.
Its like teasing a child with Christmas, then pretending its really June.

Hey Puppet
May starts to get a bit sketchy, but saying that there could be good days of wind. The early morning se at MM and Denham is good but that dies off by mid morning and doesn't happen every day. Try the bom site for historical obs data that might make it a bit clearer. Might do the same myself and get back to ya
Cheers

Hey Lurch, you sound tentative about the Castle in May...will going further up North be better? WA is a VERY big country. Do you know what the winds are like north of Broome? Lets face it, the only place worth visiting has wind.

Don't want to talk it up too much just in case crew come up and theres no wind. Then I'd probably end with rocks thru the windows of the shack. Its all good at the moment and lets hope it stays that way.
