WARNING

There are thieves operating in South Melbourne! They look for utes that have locked "lids" and they crow-bar the locks off on the assumption that goods of value are stored inside.

On Sat night over Easter, the following kite gear was stolen:

Naish Thorn board 130 Blue with Underground small fins
9m 2007 Black/Pink North Rhino (very new)
12m 2007 Black/Pink North Rhino (very used)
Cabrina pro quiver bag
Really old Rip Curl steamer - sealed seam and all black
North balloon back harness without the balloon! (very used)

If you see this gear, could you pls let me know - pls dont buy it from these bastards and be sure to not leave your gear in the back of utes.

you should call all the kite shops around
SHQ, RPS and Kite Republic and give them heads up on your stolen gear just incase they try to sell them at the shop.

Keep an eye out on gumtree and ebay as well. Also worth checking out some of the pawn shops. Most of these shops require a copy of the drivers from the seller so you might be able to track them down.

I've seen some real scum walking around port melbourne and south melbourne in the last couple of weeks. young reprobates who have 12 teeth between them and the IQ of a brick.
