Hi Everyone,
That is my Sand Anchor on gumtree. It is the result of me making one for a kiting mate in Scotland. Sand anchors are quite popular over there. I was not originally sold on the use of these but since making and using one, I love its ease and convenience. This is my take on what is already out there and I have tested it in a variety of condition from light to heavy. I too had the same concerns jplmain stated above, but with correct care and setup procedure, sand anchors can be super strong and reliable. Also I leave small marker next to it so that I know where it is and so that walkers do not trip over it. There are many sand anchors on the market and everyone should do their research. Self -launching and Landing are important kiting skills that everyone should learn and know and sand anchors should not replace these important skills. It is just another alternative with its own positives and negatives that as a consumer, you get to weigh up. For me now, the benefit is the reduced wear and tear on my kites and its ease of use. I am a big fan of the seabreeze community and view it many times a day, and appreciate reading everybody?s views, responses and constructive criticisms. When there is no wind, seabreeze is the best way to keep my mind kiting and get me through those windless days

Thanks everyone
