Hi All
I have just bought a certain kite that's great when the wind is pumping above 18 knots, but as someone who has only been into kiting for about 3 months I am also looking for a kite to use when the wind is only around the 10-12 knot wind range (on the outgoing tide at cottontree). I weigh 80 kg, have just completed my first backrolls, can surf waves (roundhouse cutbacks, reos etc.) and love jumping. Ok, so that is the level I am at, now for the kite options:
2008 13m Slingshot Rev ($1500)
2007 14m Turbo Diesel 2 ($1000)
2008 13m Bandit ($1800)
Looking for advice on relaunch, how they fly and what wind ranges they are comfortable in, and which would be best value for money as I will also have a 10m Blade Vertigo as my second kite for 20-30knot days
Thanks

I have the TD2. Its an awesome kite heaps of bottom end power, 100% depower and relauches in seconds. From what i can gather the rev has less low end but awesome top end, turns quicker and relaunches almost as good. Don't know anything abouts bandits. Hope that helps

I paid $800 more for my TD2 14m.
Relaunches with such ease, awesome depower, good stability, fast turning for its size, mad wind range.

TD2 is a sweet kite. Great low end and pretty good top end. Re-launches as good as any bow kite, that is, much better than an SLE. For $500 less I would pick the TD2.
