Depends if you want to send the kite or not. I do mine without sending the kite, so I rely on board pop to get myself started.
1. Park the kite relatively high to start with (as you get better, you can have it parked lower).
2. Make sure you've got enough power to comfortably pop/ollie the board off the water. If not, you'll struggle to get all the way around.
3. Load up your edge and quickly carve the board upwind, as if you were going to ollie off the water.
4. Instead of releasing the load and letting yourself get pulled up/forwards (into an ollie), keep carving and then let the board pop spin you around.
5. Throw your shoulder into it if you need more rotational power to get you around.
Try getting upside down (board above your head) as you go around. Feels great
