Just need a few tips on technique. I'm thinking that to do this, taking off from toeside and landing toeside i'd have to hold the bar with my back hand? Any other tips?

If you are going to keep ya back hand on the bar all you will do is transition, -you need to get the kite in front to land well. As with any jump even from just pop the kite will end up above you if you don't redirect it, if you have it so low that this effect sees it at 1030/130 on landing you are the master of pop.
I have worked more on flying the kite with both hands works best and on landing I release my front hand once the kite is redirected to balance the landing. The more practice at toe side riding the easier it becomes as you are comfortable with the stance and twist to fly the kite more naturally.
As far as the back roll/front roll - load edge, pop, look / throw your head , spot landing, where ever ya head goes ya body follows rule always applies so get the move into ya head.
the hardest thing to do is get the good pop toe side so you cheat by using the kite , making it harder to get it back for landing a good landing, so practice that load and pop off every wave ramp you can - once comfortable with this you will find it an easy move to master.

go the toesdie back roll kiteloop. Back hand on bar, slowly start to bring to 12, load, pop, backroll and crank the kite even harder with the back hand. you wanna get about 1 to 2m high on take off to get around, brilliant fun, fast landings.

note, I hold no responsibility for any whiplash induced quadriplegia .
