Hey guys,
Had quite a good day today at Maroochys again. The wind unfortunately didn't kick in like it did yesterday but I am still keeping my fingers crossed, that we'll have some tomorrow. I'll be at the Caloundra river mouth tomorrow.
We'll launch from Bulcock beach and then sail to the bar to get some nice flat water.
Hope I see you all tomorrow for Australia Day!! Planing to hit the cable park tomorrow night. If anyone's interested, just come by.
Cheers,
Sebastian

Welcome to Caloundra!

Please check with the lifeguards at Bulcock Beach before launching tomorrow as beach space is limited and, as its a public holiday, the place will be crowded. Midday will be high tide and no room. Late afternoon will provide some sketchy beach areas to launch.

The lifeguards have been happy enough with most of the activity this week with only one bogan smashing his kite into a little girl.

also don't worry about those **** from WA dude, i'm keen to get out on the water again and share some space with a self-inflating kite

Sebastion has the latest Flysurfer Pulse 2 for anyone to demo, I flew it yesterday and was very impressed. Was out on the 10m and enough power in the lighter winds to match all else flying 12 or 13m kites.
Give it a go if you see him at the beach
Thanks
Sebastion

Hey guys,

haha...it's so funny to read through the stuff that some people post here.
I get to understand better then ever before why I do actually prefer to stay away from forums and just go ride instead.

Well...to excuse myself, I am having a little demo tour right now here and my sponsors will kick my ass if I don't update my schedule frequently so that the people that are actually interested can come by and testfly a kite.

Spacemonkey, it's really sad I didn't get the chance to ride with you, while I was in WA.
What kites are you out at? Maybe I do remember you.

Flapjack, sounds like a good plan for today. I already had a sick breakfast including toast, eggs, bacon and milk!

Alright guys, I hope I can just see you out at the beach. Talking is still a bit better then communicating over the forum. Correct me if I am wrong.

Cheers,
Seb

Hey Seb, I'm the ranger for the local council in the caloundra area... If you decide to offer your products for sale on any of the beaches in my area without a permit, I'll be issuing you something that you'll never forget and I promise it wont be a 'schnitzengrubens'.....

Hey Cores66

GET OVER YOURSELF

The guy comes to our country to share some knowledge and this is how you welcome him.

Hope he repays the compliment if you ever go there!

Dammit, do I look like someone who just paid 3000bucks to get from Europe to Caloundra to sell kites out of my bag???
Even you, Cores66 should understand that this is simply not profitable.

I am having a little demo tour right now here and my sponsors will kick my ass if I don't update my schedule frequently so that the people that are actually interested can come by and testfly a kite.

Is it that hard to understand that I want do demonstrate kites and not sell them?
So please, let's stop this kindergarten - conversation and for everyone who is interested, tomorrow I hope that we'll get some wind at Sandgate.

Cheers
Sebastian

You would. He was your student. Shame some people can't separate there work from play, & pull in favours from freinds.
Yes good for the sport.
Daves comment"Some councils don't like commercial pimping on the beaches and charge large fees for the opportunity to do so."
So where is your shop? Dave. Dont you sell kites.
Gee I hate being a hypocrite.
I wonder if a ranger of the council may be seen, to be taking advantage of there position, the only person mention DEMO was cores66.
Sorry if I offend just keeping it real
ps Thanks for saying Hi the other day at caloundra.

..and some people ask why we don't support new topics by businesses/people related to business/team riders/pimps etc!

For upcoming events and all demos, (including Sebastians tour) check the News and Events pages, which are updated every week. You can also add your own news & events easily from these pages as well.

Enjoy .. Lzoza
