Hey Barrelking,

Few if any people sell their trainer kites as you have already seen. Buy a new one and you'll find out why people don't sell them onwards after they know how to fly.

Wives, girlfriends, mates and amily all will be dea keen on flying your trainer when you start riding. It's also a great toy to play with when the wind is too light to ride.

A good trainer kite is a lot of fun and will keep your skills sharp.
There is a lot of good info on my website about different trainer kites.

Good winds,

To save money get a 2 line stunt kite for like 50 bucks. Its all the same principals, you just dont get as much feel of the power. But if you do plenty of hours flying the stunt kite, when you go to lessons, and they hand you the trainer, you will dominate it and will be flying the full size kites in no time.
The more time you fly a stunt/trainer kite, the quicker you'll be up and runner
