I'm heading to Byron in October but am taking the family to Sydney and the Gold Coast first before hitting the surf down in Byron. I want to take a least 1 long board possibly another for my daughter as well as 1 or 2 kites and a TT plus all of the other stuff to go with the kites. Don't want to lug all of this gear around in Sydney or the Goldie so am looking to get it sent direct to Byron.

Anyone got advice/experience on best way to do this?

Ha! I wish.

Last time I was there I hired long boards but these a pretty crap so I want to take my own if possible...

I'll be on the Sunshine coast round that time, with all my kites. Should I expect 18 knot Sou-easters?
