T one said...Yeah, sorry about the thread hijack

6 of us were sitting at the beach the other day waiting for wind, and we added up the number of north kites we currently own, came to 32! Reasonably qualified to comment...

... and the numbers just went up by 3 for me alone with the 2012's turning up. Mind you, just to qualify abit, the 32 count are past and present (past being still own, but sitting in shed at home).

Talkin about history, one of our guys here still owns an Naish AR3.5 (circa 2000???) which we think still works, as in, the valves are ok. We'll see if he can dig it out and see if we can pump it up for a laugh.

I bet the valves are still ok, they built'em different back then.
Got my book too by the way, looks good. I was surprised by the size of the factory, I wonder if any other brands are manufactured there or is it just Norths facilities???? (Probly tells you in the book, just haven't read it yet).
How 'bout Naish do something like that, do a history type of thing, and lets see their perspective on history of kiting!!! Would be cool to see their view!.
cheers,
Robbie
