Can any one comment if one would feel any difference when riding a board 142x42 compared to 140x43. Assuming they are similar design. I guess what i am asking is how does a board length and its width influence the ride?

My wife reckons the extra length compensates for a slight lack of girth
But 2cm give or take ain't gunna change her life

I reckon the difference would be noticeable. Small, but noticeable. If you had them both with you for a demo one day in consistent conditions and switched them back and forth a couple of times you should be able to notice a difference (unless you're a complete beginner). I could be wrong though, my wife often says I am.

Is 132cm small for 85kg?
I often see people talking about 140cm+ but I've only ever used 132cm boards.
I always figured take the smallest board with the biggest kite and you should be able to boost more?

My main ride for a year or two was 129cm while I was about 105kg. Whatever floats your boat.
