Ken Block, co founder of DC Shoes and Monster Energy Drink.... worth a MINT. Didn't do too well in his first year of WRC but he soon worked out that he can go faster when he doesn't go sideways. Had a good start to the 2012 WRC season. ONE TO WATCH FOR SURE

I prefer Gymkhana 2, the high speed shutter/super slo mo shots of the car hitting balloons full of fluoro paint are awesome...

Isn't this how the average male P plater envisions his driving whilst driving

How many gopros were used I the making of that clip?

Good advertisement for them as most of the gopros stayed in place.

Think it should be more like how many were injured in the making of this movie saw one or two go flying.......

I wanna know how it's physically possible for those tyres not to peel clean off the rims hitting the ground sideways at speed.

Ken Block the man strikes me as a bit of a seppo showpony. Annoying tosser.

His companies, DC Shoes and Monster Energy drinks, both suck the big one.

He can't keep up in real rally driving, too much time sideways.

However...

His videos are.. well (slightly grudging) respect is due. They are cool. And they cut through.

Much like Achy Breaky Heart broke out of the country genre, his vids break out of the car nut circles and wow everybody. Whether he will make it up there with the great Billy Ray Cyrus is another question. (kidding people, I hate that ****** but 50 million of you actually purchased that crep)

But aside from all that his car - OMFG I want his car so bad. I love hot hatches, greater the power to weight ratio the better.

Take a little Fiesta, strip out every last kg you can, then build it into a 600hp (or 650hp depending who you listen to), 4wd, sequential shift, short wheelbase monster. That is still street legal.

motoiq.com/ken-blocks-gymkhana-4-four-video--ford-fiesta/

That's how he can get away with most of this stuff... 600hp 4wd will pull you out of so much trouble.
