I am thinking that this isnt a review of FatSand AC. The only slider in it is Doyle's and that lasts about 2 minutes. Metropolis has a lot more slider action & Andre Philip is good to watch, but a bit of a 50 minute Cabrinha ad. I also find it is a disturbing microcosm of American attitudes in the way that the people working in the sweatshops making the kite are portrayed whilst the "superior" Cabrinha crew go kiting and partying in the exotic locations.
FatSand AC features lots of kiters but mainly Hadlow, Doyle & Shinn with a bit of Mike Smith and some previous unknowns thrown in. Its got lots of wave riding & flat water and isnt kite brand biased. In one long run out to Robben Is (most of DVD shot in Sth Africa), there are 5 kiters on 5 different kite brands...amazingly they all fly about the same...funny that !
