Please add rulez.. 1.If you jump and don't land and ride away from it you can't claim it. 2.After coming in from a ride you can't say more then 3 times in 15 mins did you see me. 3.After coming in from a ride you can't say more then 3 times in 15 mins did you see how High I jumped. 4.Don't do heaps of short runs hogging the best spot when everyone else is clearly doing long runs to share it.
6. Dont say you can do a trick if you've only landed it once. 7. Never say the wind is going to die soon before you start the session because then its more likely to happen.
9. Look behind before you jump make sure no one's too close downwind of you.
10. Don't kite too close to a beginner, give them some space (I've seen some idiot who thought he was pro and ended up putting his kite through learner's kite.
11. Launch and piss off into the water, dont stay loitering around the beach while flying your kite.
13 Be the first to pump up! I end up looking stupid half the time but the other half Im first out.
14 Never say or think I'll go home in 5 mins. Its in this 5 mins I tear my kite or hurt myself. Dont think go home till your gonna do it. Then do it straight away!
15 Stay friendly with all other beach users. Kayaks, surf skies, jet skies, pole boarders, Any one of these guys could be rescuing you and/or your board in 10 mins.
17.) Don't turn around infront or downwind of someone coming into the beach
I've lost count of the number of times I've been screaming along on a good reach, coming in to shore, only to have a kiter appear just downwind of me so I can't gybe
Please, if you're downwind of someone who's going to gybe, turn around early instead of pushing them into the beach!
the first unspoken rule of kiting is to never share your username with anyone on seabreeze. the 2nd unspoken rule of kiting, at least up until now, is to spend more time kiting than typing.
