Do you like looking at your mates package bulging through skintight rubber ? If you do - become a pole boarder, you'll fit right in !

Wear what you like, I don't give a toss. If you are enjoying yourself you shouldn't care what other people think of what you look like.

Go ahead, pull out that pink tutu you have been dying to wear over your wetsuit and just shred it. (the water, not the tutu)

Reasons for wearing boardies over wetsuit include:

1. I have a massive schlong and I want the few girls that actually hang at the beach when the wind is up to talk to my face, not to my groin.
2. I don't have a massive schlong and I want the guys to talk to me, not point and laugh at me behind my back
3. I come from a dinghy sailing background and my wetsuit is 1 fart away from becoming rear ventilated.
4. I think sharks won't confuse me for a seal if I wear boardies over my wettie.
5. I spend so much time standing on the beach discussing the pros/cons of wearing boardies over my wettie, that I don't even get out there, even when its a perfect 30 knot cross shore. Therefore, refer to point 2.
6. If I'm WA, I'm on a deathwish to meet Waveslave who will teach me a lesson.

Basically, wear 'em, if it helps you sleep at night princess

And uh, yeah, I think I just fed the troll. He shouldn't be hungry anymore, so

Not to mention the "codpiece effect" that wearing a seat harness generates, in which case, refer to my last post, points 1 and 2...

Good luck with that.

I would guess that the boardies fabric 'decouples' the neoprene backing material on the wetsuit from that of the harness. This would only have effect for seat harnesses where it is in between them, obviously.

I don't:
  • Use a seat harness

  • Wear boardies over my wetsuit

  • Care what anyone thinks about that

You're welcome.
