Hiya all,

Does anyone know if you can get replacement valve balls for LEI kites?

Cheers

Try one of those craft shops that sell plastic beads or fake pearls.
You may damage the valve nipple pushing one in though?
Just squeeze it?

As far as I know you cannot buy the balls from any manufacturer/dealer/shop, and it would seem that the balls are inserted before the whole valve is welded to the bladder.

Baah! I had the same problem and was finding it close to impossible to pump up struts. Buy yourself some circlip pliers (like long nose except with rounded jaws)& round the end tips off on a bench grinder. Pinch the valve with these after inflation; you don't lose any air. The valve balls don't work anyway.

Thanks all,

Will try the circlip pliers method. I have a pair of these in my toolkit.
