Hey,

Looking for a skimboard for those light wind days, anyone use the Victoria Foamie with a kite?

ocean.victoriaskimboards.com/gallery/foamie-2/

Or have any other recommendations?

Strapless and finless looks like fun for those light wind days, and apparently skims get going in light wind...??

Used to ride one for skimming, snapped pretty darn quick, then went for a carbon, heaps better board, also use it for kiting occasionally.

ive ridden one a few time and its fun as hell, once its windier then you can put fins in too.

Agree with the snapping comment (mine delaminated with the core and was next to useless after a summer) - that's not a dig at the company, for the price it's soo much better than a wood one.
If you go to their secondhand section you get a pretty awesome carbon board for the same price.
I think I've settled on making something similar to the north board but it will be extremely light at the expense of longetivity. then I see a north nugget in the for sale section and I get all confused again! haha the only solution is 100% nuking conditions everyday
