With the Seabreezes starting to arrive it's worth checking out the benefits of becoming a WAKSA member; most importantly the public liability insurance that WAKSA provides. More and more events and locations require that kiters have insurance so for just $60 a year you can get yourself covered.

But WAKSA isn't just about insurance, it's about safety and access and we are constantly working hard to keep our beaches open and safe, so by joining WAKSA you are helping make kiting a much safer sport and giving all kiters the freedom to kite in some of the best locations in the world. Plus, we're organising a heap of events this season, from social gatherings, downwinders, light wind challenges and big air boost days! There will be special benefits to WAKSA members, from free food and drink to free transport, so $60 is a small price to pay for all this.

Kitestock, which is going to be the event of the season, has DPI requirements that ALL kiters attending have public liability insurance. To ensure you can ride at Kitestock get your WAKSA membership now!

WAKSA is the biggest state kitesurfing association in Australia and with more members we are able to do even more for kiting in WA.

WAKSA membership runs from the 1st October 2005 to 30th September 2006, so if you are an existing member and have not renewed your membership then you no longer have insurance cover. We have currently had over 50% of our members renew within the first few weeks of the new membership year, if you haven't received your renewal form then contact us ASAP so we can get you signed up and covered.

If you are not a member of WAKSA, have a look on our website, download the application form and send it off. We offer several ways to pay, including direct bank transfer, so it will only take a few minutes to fill in the form and make a payment.

View all the details at kiteboardingwa.org.au/ , download an application form at 216.26.160.196/WAKSADocs/WAKSAMembershipForm.pdf or if you require any information or have any queries regarding membership email us at [email protected]
mailto:[email protected] .

Safe kiting.

Hi Not On Board,

The first couple of spots will be up on the WAKSA website in the next week or so. The other spots will follow shortly after.

It's taken us longer than planned due to a very busy winter season, but we're almost there.

Will make a post when they go up.

Cheers

Alex
