That was fun.

Lots of dingle dangling going on on the beach as well as on the water.
Sometimes even budgie smugglers are appropriate.

Small suggestion for WAKSA more people would know if a few days before an event like this you make a post in the GENERAL section of Seabreeze as more people read this. Maybe i should check their page/link more regularly but I didn't so had my on little downwinder anyway.

All the kites looked great, not many C's though....................the times they are a'changing.

The downwinder was awesome fun .. big THANK YOU to Jess and Alex for all the organising .. as a participant, it was smooth running easy fun day out. Cheers!

Regards events being put up for display, there's generally a yellow box above the forecast a few days before, and there's a new event calendar added just last week at the left on all the graphs pages .. hope that helps..

Cheers .. Lozza

Hey Wal269 and Damo,
We thought about doing a seabreeze post but the banner at the top of the graphs page advertising it negated the need; it is the first thing people have been able to see for the last few weeks when they open seabreeze.
All members (who we have current email addresses for) also received a reminder email during the week, maybe confirm your email address with us if you didn't get the email.
So, all WAKSA events are on the WAKSA website, Laurie also advertises them on the banners on the graphs page and in the 'Upcoming Events ' link, and reminder emails are sent to members so you should always be able to easily find out what's coming up next.
See you at the Big Air day on Sunday December 10th (specific details pending).
WAKSA
PS Glad everyone who came along enjoyed it; there were some nice swells rolling through and it was a perfect 15-20 knots - bliss!

Well done to the organisers. Looked bloody great from onshore. Followed the group up the coast til Swanbourne.
Hope you get some new starters from the spectacle. I don’t kite, but windsurf. (TBO) But it still looked a great spectacle.

Jeremy was that you swimming your light green/yellow kite in near one of the groins. Was good to see the help you received from like minded people on the water.

Hi All,

I was taking photos at the downwinder yesterday.

If a group of you want me to come along and take some piccies at your favourite location then just contact me through my site.

www.pbase.com:443/pbphotoswa/windaddicts

There is only a small charge for printing any photos that you like - and more importantly no charge if they are all crap !

Cheers

Paul.

Glad you liked the piccies.

In general my home range is Swanbourne to Scarbrough as well as Melville and Pelican Point - although I could be persuaded to extend that from Leighton to Pinaroo.

Just drop me an email if you are interested.
