There seems to be a lot of people offering idea's and possible actions to combat the current string of bad publicity, however if everyone go's off and does their own thing it will achieve nothing. Is it possible for the WAKSA guys to call a meeting (even if they host it online e.g. mirc etc) to discuss current events that are rapidly unfolding in front of us and how we as a community can combat this to keep our growing sport intact in perth.
From the feedback I've received from various people the article thats going to pop up in The West is going to be a smear campaign aimed at "educating people to the perils of kitesurfing", the reporters involved with this weren't interested in how well WA did in the National Titles recently past (congratulations to Dan and the rest)

There is a meeting at the OBH back bar on Tuesday night, the 27th at 7.30 to talk about these issues, I think John Geyer and Ian Young are calling the meeying for WAKSA.
All come along to show kiters are actively interested and pro-active about safety issues in there own sport.

OBH back bar.... Do you think they'll let me in if I put some B&S stickers on my civic and wear a flanelette shirt :) If they do I'm there!

Hi guys,
it's actually 7:30pm Tuesday at the Cottesloe Beach Hotel (CBH) back bar. If we can spread he word on the beach as well that would be great. Encourage non-memebers to stick $60 in their back pocket when they come.
