Not that lm vying to be the next Andy Yates or anything but i was curious as to what tricks you need to be stomping to take out a national freestyle title? Wheres it at, is it more wakestyle or freestyle, or a combination that the judges look kindly upon? What does a typical final entail these days?

to knock off andy u would have to be a freak for one, and land every 7 trick possible and then be able to do most of that switch and in a very consistent manner..... (impossible!!!)

Also don't go out partying or talk to girls and play a buttload of rubiks cube.

Spin, thats what u gotta do... spin and swap the handle, the judges will love it. The more spins and the more swaps the better, make sure u turn your kite down near the water at the end though so it looks like you had your kite low.
