666 AHHHHH were all gonna die.

BOOMAN the answer to all your questions is: how long is a peice of string (specially how much u get to kiteboard), don't ask which brands are best.

The best brand is the brand you buy.

No one admits to buying dud gear.

hey, i noticed you have been asking lots of questions on seabreeze, the best 2 brands are naish and cabrinha, dont get a best or monkey kite, and dont buy a new kite for your first one, the second hand prices are ridiculously cheap at the moment. the best cheap kite at the moment is a 2004 cabrinha c02, very safe and you will never outgrow it, the 05 model is alot better but a bit pricyer, still way under 1000 though, please dont buy that kite i see way too many people getting ripped off by those cheap brands.
let me know if you have any more questions.
i also have a few kites im trying to sell.
thanks.

Cliffor Naish and Cab WTF

Boo dude dont take 1 persons opinion as gospel try em all and ask as many questions as you can, as a newbie you will barely be able too tell the diff,

at this stage if your interested in buying focus on the saftey side of things not the brand and make sure you dont buy a dangerous post market fiddled with bar

Wow Cliffor are you trying to steal waveslaves title as S###Stirrer. The claims you are making are pretty serious.

Very little diff between brands. They are all pretty similar i reckon.
diff styles of kites though....bows c's foils etc etc
You should demo as much stuff as possible.

the smart thing to do would be to go and sit at your local spot and see what the guys & girls are using, see whats popular and see if they might be thinking of selling any of their old gear. Get yourself something that the local kiteboarding shop stocks and that other people in your local area use so they can help you if you have any problems or questions about the stuff.
You will also be able to resell it easier when your good enough to make up your own mind on what gear is good for you.
