I'm looking at booking a kiting holiday and have been looking into New Caledonia as that seems to be one of the very few places it's windy around that time of year. Iv read reviews on it being very expensive.

What are some other options? On need2kite.com they reccomend Brisbane and wa? Are they worth looking into? Gotta have touristy stuff to do as I'm dragging the misses along.

I'm chasing flat water.

That time of year is prime time in wa, consistent winds in the afternoons from 15 to 25+ knots. Plenty of Coast to travel if you hire a car and plenty more to do than kite for the misses. Can be reasonable to expensive depending on how luxury you want to go.

NZ is cranken in December. Gets lighter for January.
