Has anyone ever tried using the sandal type of foot thingy (dont know what they are called) that they use on water skis.
Single skis have the front shoe type part with a rear heal holding flap and just a foot cover piece at the back.
Thinking of trying both types.
They look to me like they could be a real alternative to standard kiteboard straps or bindings. From memory of skiing days they were secure, comfy, easy to get in & out of, your foot could never jam in too tight but they would flick out easily enough from twisting or crashing.
Has this been done with kiteboards

Good idea. I think the front foot thingy would work well (x2) but the little loop at the back it usually pretty small, really only somewhere to tuck your toes.

Good idea though, would work well, but why, i thought that the bindings on my kiteboard were crap, but all i do now is twist my feet and it is really secure....

Have a look at that.

Thought about getting the heel straps, but have not found
out if they are sold separately.
