I went down the whole of the east coast back in feb. Didn't see a wave the whole way down. Flat as a tack. Not sure what December is like. It didn't rain the whole time I was there. It's their winter when its our summer. They get more rain in their summer. nha trang would be a good place to start inquiring about kiting. nice place. cheap beer. lots of cool stuff to do on those slow wind days.

+ 1, I usually go in December but went end of Jan this year and got headhigh waves but have been there when its been waaay over head high. Had plenty of wind too but maybe I've been lucky over the past 6 years.

Jump in a taxi and tell them Nomad Kite Camp, mind you Nomad charge you $2 a day to use the place but then again, there is a compressor for pumping up, beach boy to catch your kite and you can buy cold beer from them! Oh, and if you stuff up your kite, the guys can fix 'em too!
