Hi Guys,

1. Are there any webcams for kiting spots in Sydney, ie Doll's Point, Brighton, Kurnell, etc???

I have not found any... yet...

2. Does anyone know how much they cost to setup and then how much they cost to run?

The Long Reef shop at Brighton seems like a good candidate for a webcam... If they are interested...

Doll's Point??? Dunno where you'd put one there...

Other spots?

It would be good if the webcams were on the seabreeze site...

I know that I would be happy to donate some money towards setting a webcam up at Brighton...

I vote for a cam at brighton-le-sands. I'd also be prepared to chuck some $ into the hat if thats what it takes.

Last thing you need is a web cam at your beach as the crowds will increase. I took my cam down after noticing the increase numbers of kiters as soon as the breeze kicked in. Without a cam you get a hour or two of uncrowded kiting.

Long reef dont sell kiteing gear at brighton anymore dont think they would be interested in a web cam, as for dolls point maybe they can hang one from the powerlines that run in front of the beech or maybe hang from one of the big trees, houses or cars just meters from the beech, who the hell wants to kite there.
