Wello by a mile...
Wello you can kite in all directions, and you have the option in a Northerly to Westerly to kite on the deeper manly side of the more shallow straddy side on mid to high tide. Wello is fairly flat and great from beginners, up to grommie and the champs to kite in, so it's well suited to all riders. The tide can sometimes be an issue if it's a Southerly to Easterly as you can only kite on the straddy side, and if it's low tide, it's a fairly long walk out either towards the boat markings or kite before the peir. YOu can only set up on the sand area as there is a $250+ fine for setting up on the grassed areas if you are caught. Rocks can be an issie if you stack it shallow and intend on walking upwind, and a boots must for most riders who want to avoid cuts or who don't intend on walking lol. You can avoid the rocky areas (Inspect on low tide to find the areas to avoid). Plenty of space, many experienced kiters, and they are all excellent at kiting around each other, and are super friendly

Brighton goes fairly deep (high waist to neck high) fairly quickly, and can be extremely choppy if you are not used to it. If kiters spread out there is a fair area to kite in, but gets crowded really quickly. There is minial area ot set up, but enough to 'just' fit everyone in. There is a small 'reef' area you will ned to avoid on mid to low tide, but so far so good. Brighton is the go on Se's, Ne's and most directiosn from what I know.
A vote for Wello from me though
