West oz wave vid "jam donuts" shot here in WA and thrown together by myself, and to stop a debate its both strapped and strapless!!!! featuring myself chris steele and arild kristiansen, let me know your thoughts on it cos i have enough footage for a second episode..

PS which setting you have the GoPro on? 1080 or 720?

Thanks for the Vid Guys good stuff, nice small wave action in great locations

some good scenery & the obligatory journey shots we appreciate are a big part of travelling around WA. Keep it coming

I've heard good things about the Rebel & it definitely looks solid & responsive

Nice one Choad,put together like a pro. Its good to see some backhand action finally. sticken it for the natural footers. Love the footage from the higher vantage points when you can see the kite as well as you and the waves.

Great vid to watch. Really nice photos at the end . I initially thought that 11 mins of waveriding could get boring but enjoyed every bit.
Cant wait to see episode 2
Hopefully youll have some more footage of that South Coast spot niiiice

Cheers for the feedback, tryin to answer all these questions haha my gopro's on 1080 setting, i have the HD version but its to large to upload on vimeo without paying dollars the whole vid was shot with a canon 5D and 7D so its quite clear in HD version. Ive been ridin north kites since i started kiting and suit me perfect i only need a 2 kite quiver 6 n 7m, i'd rather change boards than kite size!! used marty's boards for about 4 years and they keep gettin better, pretty much been using a 3 board quiver for the last 2 seasons a strapped 6'0 x 17 which is all rounder super drivey and built for speed and a 6'1 x 18 thats goes sick strapless and i can also paddle it and a 5'5 fish style for the light wind days!! Marty's Customs are cheaper than production boards and you get your own personal board that no one else can have on the beach??

Nice work - thought it was great! Good kiting and good video.

Can you handle more questions? What lens are you using with the Canon? Is the shore based footage done on a tripod/fluid drag head? How does your camera(s) handle sand and salt - do you use a cover of some sort on the beach?

hey... steel-o please slow down when drivin through local towns that was a 50 kph zone you had to be doin atleast 65 kpm.

na man awes vid man cant wait for number 2 to bless my computer screen.

way better than metro beach break crap - but that's the down side. Post too many and you'll soon have lots of metro mates showing up to "share" your waves.
