Westerly Wind in Melbourne?

Where is best for Westerly wind in melbourne? would Rosebud/ Rye still work?

in a westerly you can still kite at st kilda or brighton
im not sure what it would be like at rosebud?

Probabily, but all down the east side of the bay will be onshore (straigth on shore at brighton, so be careful)

StKilda would still be on... you heading out?

rye/rosebud/tootgarook are real gusty in a westerly, but nice and flat

forecast is aying norwesterlies so i would say brighton will be your best bet other then that rosebud would be ok till it swings to a westerly. flip a coin, thats what im gonna do, always seem to head to the wrong location tho

I was going to head to Brighton tomorrow too but some prick broke into my car so it's out of action for the moment. Stole $10 worth of change and left behind my gps, $300 sunnies and a brand new pair of asics... The joys of Melbourne junkies...

Might try public transport to get down there.

Best place is ricketts point flat water protected by reef with sandy botom
