I m planning on goign out tomorrow and was thinking either Cronulla, Windang or Port Kembla. I have not only had good experience at Cronulla on a westerly. Would welcome people's view on what tmw might be like further south ? Any swell left ? West is too gusty ? I could always fall back on the Lake side but not really keen on flat water.

Mmmm. Taking my car, going to a location and hopefully kitesurfing for a couple hours, preferably in waves. Just wondered whether the 2h drive to North Warilla or Port Kembla was worth it on a Westerly.

the forecast is flat out westerly. Port kembla would be ok if the wind direction was ssw, but flat out westerly is straight offshore. Same for north warilla. Looking for a place to kite in waves in a westerly down this way is pretty impossible, but your best bet would be Gerroa due to the direction the beach faces. Windsurfers go out there in a westerly.
