Anyone have a practical solution for putting your sandy and wet kite into (bladders still inflated) in to keep the sand/seawater out of the car/van.

Needs to be about 2m long, 50 cm wide and minimum 30 cm high, not too heavy, rustproof, watertight

e.g....a plastic coffin

or ...the upturned lid of a Thule roof box (expensive!)

any ideas and suppliers, thanks

A van or ute, dedicated as a kite car. Pick something up for $500 never have to worry about sand or water even drive home in your wettie.

You should always go home with a wet kite and a new injury[}:)]

Dam I thought this was about something else

2m is long. but a pile of plastic water tank manufacturers also have a complimentary range of other polyethylene products.
Some have stock drinking troughs that sound just what you are looking for.

a 2m by 50cm wet box sounds like you should be strapping your board across your arse, for safety.

i use a plastic tube for my wettie and harness ect one of the storage ones you see in clints and golo, just find the biggest one you can, and a deflated kite will fit in it. so get 2 for when u crash

or just kite somemore till its dry, that work s better
