Did everyone enjoy their Aussie day weekend? Solid wind and waves, doesn't get much better. Though not many people were out at Botany or Wanda. Maybe too many sausages.

Pretty marginal on Friday here in Brissy too, but enough for everyone to get out. Had a great Barbie with the team. We even flew the Aussie flag on our kites. Attracted many spectators. Was good.

Epic week-end. Awesome. 3 days of wind when you're off and the beaches empty, doesn't get any better than this!
Nah, no Botany Bay for me, for once I could kite in BEAUTIFUL landscape with turquoise water -and perfect waves-...mmmm.... spreadable happiness.....
I want this summer to be never ending and I want to be on holiday for the rest of my life... sigh...
-not asking for much am I???-

I missed the Sunday.... Saturday was too much hard work. The wind was so gusty at Dolls. The saussages were great (other than the one Sam had to borrow to Franck - pictures have unfortunately been sensored by the moderator...)

sorry missed the snags. down south gerroa-jervis way. surfed the mornings and kited the arvos. good wind, though gusty at times but great swell. so many beaches with so many aspects, no more than 6 kites in the water so great for learners to try and emulate the Botany champs

Some crazy wind down on the Penninsula, a mate had his canvas shade sail in his back yard ripped in half! a little too much wind for Ozzie day down that way!
Aside from that, awesome day, BBQ, beer, whole bunch of mates, bit of a surf at the back beach.
All good!

Wasn't too bad, went the Friday morning and tried to sweat out some weight under a motorbike jacket instead. Not quite the adrenaline rush of kiting, or the peace and quiet, but it fitted in nicely with beers sitting in the cool blue water of Ledge point beach afterwards.

Had an awesome kite that day at Pt Walter on the easterly. Just made me more psyched up for my next kite, hanging out till the wind comes back on Thursday
