Take the boat out.
Fishing, wakeboarding or just cruising.
Just great to be on the water when its that glassy.
Pity will never be able to kite (in the surf) in such conditions but nice to dream.

And of course gettin your points up with the missus is always a good thing to do before next season.

Terrible idea. All thats gonna happen is you will get them into a pattern of expectance, then when the windy season rolls in and your nicking off all the time they are going to be even more pissed off than if you had done sweet F A, because they expect so much more.
You cant make up for it all at once, it just doesnt work like that.

Miss Jessi. Do u know those Howie boys from WA? You might progress from your kids toy and get a freebord. I reckon they are way more fun. They are only really fun downhill in my opinion though. It'll be helping me thru winter for sure.

Kiting! - In stupid gusty conditions.
Or actually not kiting
Got half the kite inverted into a pretty bowtie shape after a big gust and got to practice self rescue in a semi offshore..
such fun.

Why is there no cable park around Syd?
surely there is a market for it!

Hope you timed it right and will be out on the water again in December!

'make a baby' is not a good off season activity.
.... MissJess, take note re: timing of any said plans!

yeah.... NO!!! def not any time soon and if it does happen in the "future" it'll be planned down to the wire to maximize summer seabreeze!!! haha.
(how many months do u recon u could kite for when u become pregnant??)

Smedg "Howie boys from WA "

No I dont know them. So far the ripstik is going fine, I'm getting the hang of going up hill already! (A normal skateboard can't do that very well and a skateboard would be pointless to me for where I want to use it)

What have you done to combat the withdrawl symptoms??

1. Watch lots of kiting movies.
2. Buy a new board
3. Wait for my busted foot to let me back on the water

Making a baby is actually an on-season activity, in order to maximise kiting sessions over the summer...aim to get fat at the end of the season. This pic is from my last session at 5 and a half months, which was about halfway through March...and more or less the end of the wind. I better be back on the water before December though!
