Mia culpa.
... and you're all totally blameless, I was without accomplice.

meanwhile, back on track...

The 5th line setup through the bar/chicken is technically far superior than a classic suicide leash.

Yes. The kite will get wet.
Yes. It might save your ugly arse at the cost of some "style".
No. It won't lead to beach bans because your shredded kite and ragged bloody body washed up in front of the tourists.

no deal!!! your kite will fall out of the sky, get ripped to shreds, wash in with you attached to it and then decapatate the tourists swimming in the waves. when all this could have been avoided by just pulling in your suicide leash before your kite hit the water.

So true,
Riding with power, like kitelooping power,in a Western Australian breeze.
Suicide leash setup breaks.

Do you use your suicide leash on a slider? Fugn no way.

I know the foot strapped styling Tarifa kids (Spain) use suicide leash exclusively. Thats how they learn big tricks. Fact is they ride far bigger, than harder most and in a crowd.

They are pretty good at relaunching their kites and they aint professional.

Kitegrom. I could show you a trick or 2. Save your lunch money and come over, ride 30knts and see how well your suicde leash works.

It was Puppets fault, he made azza do it.

So the above link is kitegrom slapping puppet around with the two fish of discontent.

But Puppet, you do deserve it.

And KiTe GrOm, just keep kiting the way you think is best because I'm sure you'll make your mum a good little vegetable to care for in her old age... or just keep going the way you are now and I'll make sure she gets nice fittings for your casket.

Waveslave... huh

I might have to try some bindings.

what size for a size 10 foot?

But not white.

Is that the real WAVESLAVE?

Back in the old days, there were only 2 of us here trying to teach ourselves to kite.
My partner in oblivion seeking, went the LF picklefork direction and used snowboard bindings and runners/sneakers/whatever. great for the walk back.

So :-
Straps?
Straps with heel strap?
Wake bindings
Snowboard+shoes?

If my Knees keep wearing down I'll have an orthotic clamp.
