Hi there, I had a look for the octopus on kitepower but couldn't find it. Do you think you could post a link for me?

sounds good "one of the best and robust kites you'll ever fly" (octopus)
and you can buy 100 of them for the price of a fuel

NA the occy sucked, I had a go on the demo and was getting constantly overpowered by it. WARNING: NOT FOR THE BEGGINER OR INTERMEDIATE USER.

the octopus is so much better sliced and dipped in beaten egg and then rolled in breadcrumbs before being deep fried in olive oil at 190 degrees.

best feedback from a wide selection of kite customers.

no particular order;

switchblade

vegas

octane

all standout performers. for various reasons.

not an opinion (i use a shockwave) , just related info.

The octopus for sale on the kitepower website is just a cheap copy. Here is the real octokite. The original and still the best

On Mana Island in Feb took Rhino 06 12m and 16m, used the 16m each afternoon perfect in conditions there. I am now on North Vegas and I rate it as the best kite I've used, well made fast turning for loops and wave riding etc.

2006 is only half way thru??
Still got lots of kites to come.
Contra just coming out and north is bringing out another one.
One of these could very well be the kite of the year.

bloody hard work to keep up.
Some kites are being updated every 6 months - start of summer northern hemisphere, start of summer down here.
Then they release 07 stuff while it's still 06
then there's version 1 or 2 of the same model (yarga)
But I guess it's all good fun just try and ignore all of the hype and only update
your kite when you've outgrown it not when the marketing gurus convince you that your kit is holding you back.

p.s. where's the wind?
