Was wondering what size board i should be looking at if i want to start riding bindings? A mate has an Underground FLX 132 (that is compatible with bindings) that he wants to sell. Im 73kg and 178cm. Would this be a suitable size? Id try it out but you need a special rubber mat to go under the binding to make it sit flush with the board. I dont want to go to all that trouble of cutting out the pad and setting it up if its not the right size board for me. What are peoples thoughts?

you reeally gona need something a lil bigger.. 132 for boots at your size is pretty small.. you are almost exactly same size as me ( 75 and 178) and you will find that riding a 136.40 - 140. 42 with boots will be ALOT better.. 132 will give you a good feel for what boots are like but you wont know for real until you ride a proper board.

Any board can be converted. I'd go something stiff for max pop.

as yomofo said any boards can be booted..

Cardboard Tempos are real good from wat i hear..

i know that the LF concept is really nice too, catapult makes lots of boot based boards and i know their new boards are dope (recorder)

i went out with boots on a proto xpact today was soo **** because i think the cores rooted and its super flexy.. ud b goin along lit and as u unhook and edge the board just over flexes and power goes bye bye
