Guess it depends on your weight?

I was taught on a 142 twin tip (I weigh 92Kgs)

This worked for me

It depends on weight etc. I started on a 142 for about 4sessions, went to my 128 and it was sooooooooooooo much easier. Struggled on the big one, was going out and back first time on the 28.
Im just under 60kg.

Hi Luke

How much do you weigh?
First rides are a lot easier with a larger board, smaller kite combo, thats how we do our fully water based lessons now, and generally we get people up and riding within one 3 hr lesson.
Someone here will know of a good instructor down your way?

How much you weigh will determine the answer to the board size question.

Go for something around 130 with your weight. You'll outgrow anything else.

I agree with Saffer. I bought a 144 board a few weeks ago. After 3 times out, I borrowed someones 133, and it was soooo much better. The bigger might be easier for the first few sessions, but you will regret it after that.

Saying that, anyone wanna buy a brand new 144 2007 Naish Haze??

I started about 2-3 weeks ago and I weigh 63, And have been using an Airush switch 138 witch I got up on first go no problem, And is feeling really good under my feet, but I am wanting a smaller board already so mabye go for around a 130.
