Has anyone turned their old kites into a piece of artwork or anything cool?

I've got an old Liquid Force 12m taking up space in my store room that i'm not sure what to do with.

Get sun smart and use it as a shade
The old c / 5 lines work a treat
Peg the back lines then place a guideline on the 5th line attatchment
One to front and one to rear of kite
You'd be able to do the same on a bridled kite using pump attatchment loop on leading edge

Laurel Eastman raises lots of money for charity selling bags made out of old kites, pretty cool initiative

I have a few that are still going strong after 4 or 5 years

Hi Kahuna,

I met a girl in Perth a few days ago who's transforming old kites into bags and other accessories. She told me she's actually looking for some old kites these days.

Here's her Website: www.coupdvent.com

Her name is Lydianne

I'll have the bladders and valves if no one wants them. Don't throw them in the bin. Postage paid too.

Old kites (that still work) are a gift to pass on to crew that would be so grateful to have a kite to use.

We work with a guy in PNG who is always stoked for old kites that still work, he teaches the locals on them and they froth harder than any of us at the chance to kite.

If you have a kite gathering dust that still has a bit of life left in it drop it into Airborne Kitesurfing and we will get them to the guys in PNG.
Also Bonny from KSS I believe does the same for Indonesia contact him to check??

Cheers
