I have busted a lot of different moves throughout my kitesurfing journey but I always find I enjoy this one in particular. Which move does it for you ?

I like to get nice and loaded, slow it down a bit, one hand off the bar, then bust a back roll transition trying to get as high as I can.
When I land, it has to be with some forward speed (in the new direction) so I can carve a bit of a toe side bottom turn to take me powered into my new tack. (Riding a Mutant)

A kite loop is always a option with this move as well to land even more loaded and with untangled lines. - Just don't pull the trigger to early.

It doesn't matter how many times I have done it - I still dig it ! - A bit like S_X really

Underwater back roll, board off in one hand, waving at the sharks with the other one, the kite looping above the surface, and then perfectly surfacing back on the board!!! The best ever!!!!

oops that was confusion i thought u were talking about Atomic pull ups.

My favourite move is anything that has a tansition onto land then the occasional face plant and gravel rash.

Speaking of which for no wind fun my mate invented this thing that has like 20m of really thick bungee cord a handle and a bag you fill full of sand. You walk backwards as far as you can go and then jump on a skimboard and hope for the best plenty of gravel rashes and face plants yesterday .

Hmmm riding and staying upwind is my fav trrick at the moment. or the only trick...

Can anyone recomend some good tips or forum pages or websites or anything to help me start boosting.

Each time i send my kite like everyone talks about it either just sucks me downwind with about half a meter of air or just stops me dead on the water. Any help would be great.

Hey Mitchell

Heres an intoductory - you can check out more at the following site - Have a blast learning to jump - it's an awesome road !

From Kitesurfing School -

If light air is what makes you interested in kitesurfing, it's jumping that will make you hooked. You don't need any wave, boat or wake; just water at your local beach and some decent wind more than 10 knots. Once you have learned how to jump you probably don't want to be in any wave or big chop as ordinary flat water can get you go faster and probably jump higher.

Flat water jumping will even the playing field somewhat by allowing all of the kitesurfers to have fun practicing advanced aerial moves without having to be at some of the perfect spots on earth with the perfect wind and wave combinations.

So how much wind do you need to jump? Personally, I have never been able to jump decently (more than 5') in 5-10 knots wind (couldn't jump at all from 5 - 7 knots). I have done a number of 10' floaty jumps in 10-15 knots; however, it's 15+ knots that allows for 20' - 30+' jumps. etc

how about the " round the world " where you do the fastest possible downloop but leave the kite travelling 180 out rather than finishing the loop and try to use your 40kts of board speed post landing to steer yourself completely downwind of the kite, which is still going 180 out to you, and try to pull it through the last 90 degrees before the apparent wind dies off.... which is when you commence muttering obscenities as your kite falls out of the skie, upwind of you , in a manner that is unknown or unscene by anyone before, and know your swimming with the sharkies with know hope of relaunch

my serious favourite move is when the kite fills with wind after either a self or assisted launching.

i take two or three steps as it pulls me towards it and focus on "the engine"

you know you're onto something good!

OMG the 360 rewind it the ugliest looking move kiting ever. With the exception perhaps of kiting in budgie smugers and a waist harness.
