I'm thinking about getting a light wind kite and was wondering what would be a good size/make/model.

there's so many out there but one that worked for me was the slingshot rpm 14, it stayed in the sky in light wind and was also pretty quick moving for a large kite but it does have a large bar which you could proble cut down but you would lose a bit of turning speed. the other thing i found if you use the kite in light wind you tend to move it around alot more and this means extra wear on the chicken loop but all round was a great light wind kite, well best one i've used.

in darwin (where light wind is our specialty), everyone rides north rebels (usually 14m). There's a few 14/12m bandits around too.

Type in Ozone in to the brand filter in the "Gear Reviews" section and check out the info on the Ozone Zephyr 17m.

have not tried the 09,s but the V2 Kahoona would make a good light wind kite, if you don't mind a bit of bar pressure.

The 2010 13m edge might surprise you as well.

bandit dos 2 and wat ever size would suit you best they are the best kite for low end power they are all quick and grunty and and if the wind kicks up can depower alot.
that would be my choice of low end kite

Hey D_Meredith79. It would be a great beach shelter these days.
As long as it does not hit 5 knots or course, then it would miraculously launch and have heaps of power to get you going.
Have you had it out recently

Slingshot T3 14M has great bottom end and turns reasonably well.
