If you lose a board @ South Coogee Perth where do you think it could come ashore will head back down there in the morning to see if has wash up but any help where to look would be great Thanks Steve
I had to let a kite go once .... it drifted North for a day or 2 then South for another 2 (wind direction) It was picked up by a fisherman about 20 miles offshore and about 70 miles south of where I lost it ....
My un-educated guesstimate is that it did at least 100 miles.
So ... who fuggin knows mate. If it floats ... it will travel.
99% of the time it will head in the direction of the wind I would walk from a little upwind of where you lost it downwind for 1-2Kms to see if you can find it. A board would be a bit different than a waterlogged half deflated kite (I'm making an assumption here MartyJ).
Let us know if you found it or not, could be useful info for if you do as to where for anyone else that loses thier's.
It might have already drifted in to someones shed or living room as a coffee table. Still miss my beautiful shifty...I know some scum of the earth has claimed it...still so sad to lose the best and most beautiful twin tip ever
About 2kM North is how far it got not sure if someone dragged it up the beach but a girl was down the beach with her mate last night and found up by the dunes, she gave me a call today and I have just picked it up
good karmar to her, maybe she didnt wont the wine cause she dosent drink??? or maybe just one of the few decent people you run into now and then, not very often ,for some reason, these days unfortunatly
