I was going to say Seabreeze also has Cape Leeeuwin but that of course is just a live wind graph.
There is a forecast for Albany though and between that one and the Margaret River one you can get a pretty good idea of what is happening at Augusta, particularly if you also check out the synoptic charts.

Kiting is banned at Augusta. Too many Travelllers launching off the grass next to picnic tables, families and prams... No respect

All the locals kite from the grassy bit. Why would you ban kiting on the whole river because of a little grassy picnic spot. Sounds like a ruse to keep people away over easter.

Banned??? You've got to be joking. April fools was a couple of days ago.

Or just walk 100m upwind to the cut and setup launch there, not like they're going to be standing there all day to handcuff you if you pump up, right?

It's true, kiting is banned in the Augusta Margaret River shire until further notice. Don't come down at Easter!

It is actually banned.
Last time I went there a ranger was patrolling the inlet on a zodiac type rubber ducky. Saw a couple of guys get fined so probably not worth it anymore.

Hope your not bulls1tting. My money is on, you are. Can you prove? Surely the first we beach to have kiting banned would have become public knowledge. Liars liars pants on fire.
